With an ID of 238, Xat’s newest group power, ‘Switch’, comes with 2 limited hat codes and is based off of the traditional game of Switch.
The objective of this game is to empty all of the cards in your hand before any other player is able to do so.
To set up the game, you will need to bring the gamebot (804) to your chat room. You can do so by typing the following:
!bot [lang code] // Note that you need to have the application open @ 60239
After calling the gamebot to the chat room, type: !start
This will initiate a new game with you, the user who started it, as game master.
To begin by playing, you’ll need 1-3 more users — signifying that this game is a 2-4 person game.
To add a user into the current game, open a private chat (PC) with the desired user and click on their xavi in the game app.
Type: !play // in main pool to start the game after garnering some players
Type: !pause // to pause the game temporarily
(If so desired, you may choose to add a prize reward for the victor of the game. You may do this by sending the gamebot xats || days and using the command !prize. Then, proceed by typing the following: !play to resume the current game OR !start to start a new game with the previously defined prize)
If no user has been assigned to the game after being started, moves will be automatically made!
If you are unable to complete your turn within the specific time frame set, a move will be made for you automatically.
If you are of a rank that allows for you to control the gamebot at a given chat room, you can run multiple games of Switch simultaneously via the !start command.
If you’re unable to start it, you may want to contact the main owner to see if GControl is assigned (something that may prohibit you from being able to control the bot)
Once you’ve set up the game, it is time to begin playing.
Ideally, in each turn you’d like to somehow either match the RANK or SUIT of the previous card added to the stack of cards played.
If you do NOT have a card in your hand that matches the suit or rank of the card that was previously played, you’ll have to pick up a card from the queue.
To make things more interesting, the following cards are considered ‘power cards’ that alter the way the game is played.
2(s): If a 2 is placed, the next player without a 2 must pick up 2 more cards than the previous amount-to-picked-up. (The total to-be-picked-up increases by 2 each time a 2 is placed until there comes a point in which a player is not able to play a 2 and thus they must pick up the aggregate total of cards to be picked up from the stack)
8(s): Makes the next person miss their turn if they do not play an 8. If they do, it is passed along until the next player is unable to play an 8 and thus their turn is skipped.
King(s): Reverse the play direction
Black Jack(s): When placed, this card makes for the next player to pick up 5 new cards (per Black Jack). If, however, the next player has a Black Jack, rather than them having to pick up 5, it is simply passed along with the total number of cards-to-be-picked-up accumulating each time.
Red Jack(s): Cancels out the ‘pick up 5′ rule given by the Black Jack (Only cancels 1 Black Jack per Red Jack)
Ace(s): Regardless of suit or value, this card can be played at any time and allows for you to change the suit of the next card.
Black Queen(s): Changes your hand to the person to the left of you.
Its limited hat codes are (hat#hs) and (hat#hc) for the Switch and Switch2 pawn(s), respectively.
