I am often asked how I came to xat. In 07 a
different kind of Trade was cool. Kids collected
stuffed animals and traded virtual items. We talked
via a chat feature.For those that don’t know, I
speak of Webkinz.
Unknown to us, a larger virtual world existed. We
soon discovered there was more. The chat we used
was xat and there were a thousand others like it.
I left the webkinz world, bringing with me users
that remain dear to my heart like Charlie, Amanda,
Ash, WG or Sook, and Gizzy as well. I can recall xat
without powers.
A scam use to mean someone would promise you
unlimited promos for so many xats.3k seemed alot.You
spent xats on promo, 8 ball, and limited kisses and
gave the rest to friends.
Everyone knew who Freddy101, Sam,Darren, and Chris
were. The black pawn was cool and always on Help. A
different time and a differnt era.
Hard to believe that Trade is 3 years old this week.
We have had our share of members and staff come and
go. Some dear to my heart.
Friendships and bonds form. For me that means users
like Gold, Brandon, Nitro, Firo,Spider, Vale, Ghost,
and Fino.
Trade is a place of home. The users are a family.
It runs efficient. With all the pools, we prob
still have less bans and rule breakers then most.
People often ask me what the success is of Trade. I
just have one answer.
Its YOU, the users. It doesn’t matter what rank. We
are indeed Family. With that said, I have some
Special Thanks that I would like to give for helping to make this years Anniversary, spectacular.
