Staff Ban Times
This chart may be used as a table for the staff and members of Trade. It can be used to help with any questions about what infractions are more severe than others. This table does not show required ban lengths for any infraction; it is simply a chart to help in case there are any questions.
Consequences from infractions are to involve moderator discretion in addition to the following recommended ban times.
Inappropriate swearing or racism: 24 hour ban.
Inappropriate flaming or insulting (depending on severity): 6-8 hour ban.
Flaming via smilies such as (n) (crazy) or (flip) next to a users name can incur a punishment as low as a kick and as much as a 1 hour ban or so.
Scamming: 24-48 hour ban.
Owners may ban up to forever if sufficient proof for scamming or phishing is included.
Spamming: 1 kick to a 1 hour ban. An unusual (usually purposely spamming to create a disruption) can be followed by a 1-6 hour ban.
Example of spamming: asdfjkl;.
Smile spam (defined as “SS”): 1 kick to 1 hour ban.
More than six smilies in name: 1 kick to 1 hour ban.
Asking for ranks: 1 kick to 1 hour ban.
Inappropriate smilies: 1 kick to 1 hour ban.
Advertising: 1 kick to 1-6 hour ban.
Asking for un-ban: 1 kick to 1-6 hour ban.
Non-English: 1 kick to 1 hour ban.
Caps(4+ words): 1 kick to 1 hour ban.
